ICD-10 IT Project Support
Kforce Healthcare Solutions provides IT resources for ICD-10 through the following program management phases:
Planning Phase
- Program Management - responsible for overall execution of the program and client interface
- Project Management - oversees sub-projects, as needed, depending on complexity
- Project Coordinator(s) - executes project administration such as status updates, meeting coordination and plan updates
Assessment Phase
- Clinical Systems Analyst - performs systems inventory documentation while working with facility staff
- Contracts and Vendor Analyst - performs vendor risk analysis and contract review with facility staff
- Functional Analyst - identifies and documents new processes to improve clinical workflow
Remediation Phase
- Developers - assists in remediation development
- Interface Developers - works to remediate interface systems
- Database Admin/Developers - works to remediate database/storage systems/convert data
- Security Analyst - works to design/ensure system security standards are met
Implementation Phase
- Systems Technicians - assists in system upgrades and other infrastructure needs
- Testers - responsible for testing systems and interfaces for compliance
- Systems Trainers - responsible for training on new processes/systems to support program
Stabilization Phase
- Support Specialists -provide system specific support from a technology perspective
- Records Coders - coding support for backlog prevention
During the stabilization phase, Kforce Healthcare Solutions can also provide backfill consultants to support staff as they focus on go-live activities.
